FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: load-bearing rod of an upper trunk contains an airflow regulation structure passing in direction (L) along the length of the specified load-bearing rod. The structure contains at least two protruding rib parts displaced relatively to each other. Two adjacent protruding rib parts are separated by distance (L1) in direction (L) along the length of the load-bearing rod. The load-bearing rod additionally contains a channel for reception of at least one mounting element for attachment of equipment. The channel passes at least partially in direction (L) along the length of the load-bearing rod. The structure is at least partially located in front of the channel relatively to direction (T) of movement of the load-bearing rod during the use. Each of two protruding rib parts is located diagonally relatively to direction (T) of movement, and it additionally has width (d1) of the part.
EFFECT: reduction in air resistance and noise, when using a trunk, is achieved.
