FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad switch mechanism (100). Railway switch mechanism (100) comprises first and second switch switches (141, 142). Point (145a, 145b) of each of the first and second point blades (141, 142) of the arrow is made with possibility of vertical displacement by means of displacement mechanism (200a, 201a) to perform transfer movement in appropriate point (145a, 146a). Corresponding displacement mechanism (200a, 201a) comprises at least one pair of interacting wedges (311a, 312a, 313a, 314a, 315a, 311b, 312b, 340a, 341a, 342a, 343a), comprising lower wedge (211a, 211b) and upper wedge (212a, 212b). At least one wedge of said at least one pair of interacting wedges (311a, 312a, 313a, 314a, 315a, 311b, 312b, 340a, 341a, 342a, 343a) is configured to displace in a direction substantially parallel to the lengthwise direction of sword (141, 142) or parallel to longitudinal direction (L) of said arrow mechanism. Switch blades (141, 142) are elastically deformed in vertical direction or rotary jointed by hinge joints with first and second connecting rails (170, 171) respectively to enable vertical displacement of switch blades (141, 142). Invention also relates to the corresponding point frog, a unit of such a mechanism for switching arrow keys and a point frog arrow and a method of operating such a unit.
EFFECT: as a result, reliable mechanism of railway switch is created.
