FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power engineering, namely, to phase-to-phase spacers of overhead power lines. Spacer comprises a detachable insulating module 1, two end terminals 2, 3 at the ends thereof, secured on attachment nodes 4, 5 to the wires 6. The central part of the module 1 is made in the form of a hinge assembly constituting a metal tip 7 with a shaped groove 8, set on the rod 9 of the module 1 on one side of the central part thereof, and a second metal tip 10 with a shaped protrusion 11, set on the rod 9 of the module 1 on the other side of the central part thereof. The shaped protrusion 11 of the tip 10 matches the shaped groove 8 of the tip in shape and geometry at the coupling point, ensuring connection thereof. In the variant according to the second dependent claim, an elastomeric insert 13 is set on the shoulders 12 of the shaped protrusion 11 of the metal tip 10.
EFFECT: invention provides high operational reliability due to the improved damping and strength characteristics, as well as a high degree of articulation when wires are being twisted.
