FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power engineering, in particular to inter-phase remote spacers of overhead power transmission lines. The spacer contains an insulation module (1) with two end caps (2, 3) made at its ends, which are pivotally fixed in one or more planes to the connecting attachment points (4, 5) to the wires (6, 7) of overhead power lines. The insulation module (1) based on an insulator in the form of a fiberglass or basalt-plastic rod is covered with an organosilicon shell, which is applied by direct, transfer or injection pressing, or extrusion, or a combination of the above technologies. The construction length of the insulation module (1) is determined in such a way that it is more than 60% of the construction length of the spacer, but less than 88.5%, which ensures a minimum length of the leakage path of 1000 mm.
EFFECT: provision of increased electrical strength of the spacer.
