FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power industry, specifically phase-to-phase spacers of 35-1150 kV overhead power lines. Spacer comprises an insulating module (1), such as a fibreglass or composite rod or fibreglass or composite pipe. Module (1) on both sides ends, for example, with metal end sleeves (4, 5), which are mounted pivotally in one or more planes for fixing a connecting node (6, 7) to wires 8 of overhead power line. Connecting fasteners (6, 7) have elements, which enable to adjust their length. To ensure optimal electrical transmission characteristics of spacer, ratio of lengths of long building insulation module and connecting nodes can be selected from a certain ratio.
EFFECT: invention ensures high operational reliability, structural and easy production.
