FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry, in particular, to the interphase remote struts of overhead transmission lines with voltage of 35÷220 kV. Spacer comprises insulating module (1) with enders (2, 3) made at its ends, which are hinged in one or more planes are fixed to connection attachment units (4, 5) to wires (6, 7) of overhead transmission lines. Insulating module is made of fiberglass, basalt-plastic or acid-resistant rods interconnected by one or several couplings (8).
EFFECT: design of the spreader allows adjusting the overall structural length of the insulating module from a minimum value of 40 % to the maximum possible value, thereby providing a minimum length of the leak path and substantially increasing the strength of the brace.
