FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vibration damper for split-phase conductors of overhead power transmission line has casing with two fixtures for connecting vibration damper to each conductor. Vibration damper is provided with casing-mounted disk incorporating assembly of internal and external plates set axisymmetrically on central stud; external plates are set on stud at both ends of internal disk-mounted plates set on stud through bushing. At least one pendulum is attached to any one of external and internal plates in plane perpendicular to central stud axis.
EFFECT: enhanced degree of damping overhead-line conductor vibrations, reduced size, enhanced reliability with respect to mechanical design, facilitated installation on line.
