FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used in creating and modernising means of determining the spatial coordinates of an aerial vehicle (AV). In the claimed method, in case of failure of the NUE, the final estimates of the spatial coordinates of the AV are formed on the basis of comprehensive processing of information from the local control and correction station (LCCS) and an inertial navigation system (INS). The coordinates of the point wherein the sphere with the centre at the dislocation point of the LCCS and with a radius equal to the estimate of the distance between the AV and the LCCS, determined based on the difference between the times of receiving and transmitting an additional message, crosses the beam with the origin at the dislocation point of the LCCS, passing through a point the coordinates whereof coincide with the estimates of the spatial coordinates of the AV, generated by the INS, are therein taken as final estimates. Such information processing allows eliminating the radial non-stationary error in determining the coordinates of the INS relative to the LCCS and thereby increasing the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the AV as a whole in case of failure of NUE.
EFFECT: expanded range of operating capabilities in determining the spatial coordinates of an AV in the interests of increasing the accuracy thereof in conditions of failure of the navigation user equipment (NUE) of a global navigation satellite system.
