FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used in the creation and modernization of means for monitoring the performance of consumer navigation equipment (CNE) of an aircraft (AC). In the claimed method, the control of the operability of the CNE is carried out as a result of complex processing of information from the CNE, the local control and correction station (LCCS) and the barometric altimeter. At the same time, a pair of correspondences is jointly checked: the correspondence of the distance estimates between the LCCS and the aircraft, formed using the CNE and the LCCS, as well as the correspondence of the altitude estimates of the aircraft, formed by the CNE and the barometric altimeter. The final decision that the CNE is operable is formed subject to the simultaneous execution of a pair of the above correspondences.
EFFECT: increasing the probability of proper control of the operability of the aircraft CNE.
