SUBSTANCE: described technical result is achieved by the post insulator containing an insulating support containing a first end and a second end, wherein said ends are mutually opposite; a potential distribution levelling ring of the high-voltage end, connected with the first end of the insulating support, wherein the potential distribution levelling ring of the high-voltage end is isolated from the insulating support; a potential distribution levelling ring of the grounding end, connected with the second end of the insulating support, wherein the potential distribution levelling ring of the grounding end is isolated from the insulating support; and a charge control ring located on the external surface of the insulating support, wherein the charge control ring is isolated from the insulating support, and the charge control ring is configured to accumulate surface charges.
EFFECT: reduced negative impact of solid particles when the insulator is in operation.
