SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline control valves and can be used to control the flow and pressure of liquids and gases. The control valve comprises a body with branch pipes and a cover with a seal. The body contains a plunger with a cylindrical protrusion and a seat with a seal. A spiral is attached to the side surface of the cylindrical protrusion of the plunger, connected at one end to the lower part of the plunger, and at the other end to a flat disk with holes. The helix pitch increases from the plunger to the flat disk.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent the occurrence of cavitation.
