FIELD: valve engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve engineering, in particular to axial flow control valves used in industrial pipe fittings, and is intended for regulating and shutting off working media of liquids and gases. The control valve contains external and internal housings, inlet and outlet pipes with flanges, a flow divider, a plunger with a translational drive in the form of a rack mechanism, the flow divider is a cylindrical compression spring, with one end resting against an annular cavity located in the area of the outlet pipe, and the other into an annular cavity in the plunger, and in a transverse the cross-section of the spring wire has a rectangular cross-section, having a protrusion and a triangular depression on the opposite large sides. Coaxially to the cylindrical compression spring, inside it, there is a cylinder with holes in the form of longitudinal slots located parallel to its axis, attached with one end to the plunger, and the length of the perforated cylinder is greater than the length of the cylindrical compression spring in the free state.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing cavitation by effectively dividing the flow into jets.
