FIELD: valve engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve engineering, in particular to axial flow control valves used in industrial pipeline fittings, and is intended for regulating and shutting off working fluids of liquids and gases. The valve contains a body, inlet and outlet pipes with flanges, a flow divider, a plunger with a translational drive. The flow divider is a cylindrical compression spring, with one end resting against the annular cavity in the body, and with the other end against the annular cavity in the plunger. In cross-section, the spring wire has a rectangular cross-section, which has protrusions and depressions of a triangular shape on opposite large lateral sides. The compression spring is located vertically, and its axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the inlet and outlet nozzles, to the lower surface of the plunger. A hollow cylinder is attached coaxially to the compression spring, contacting the outer side surface with the annular guide in the housing. The length of the hollow cylinder is equal to the length of the compression spring in the compressed position, and the inner diameter is equal to the outer diameter of the compression spring in the compressed position.
EFFECT: proposed valve allows to regulate the flow of liquid media, preventing the occurrence of cavitation.
