SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry in terms of measures for the formation of technogenic tanks. The purpose of the invention is to create an insulating coating using a recycler to shield the base of a man-made container and prevent the migration of pollutants when storing waste from the processing of solid minerals, as well as to increase the environmental efficiency of mining enterprises. The technical task is to prevent the migration of pollutants into the layers of the lithosphere and hydrosphere through the base of the technogenic tank, improve the waterproofing properties of the engineering protection system while increasing the reliability and speed of its creation. The method includes combining the processes of cutting the underlying rocks of the base and mixing them with a binder emulsion by creating a technological scheme for the formation of an insulating coating within the work site, namely, moving the recycler in the forward and reverse directions of movement, which are parallel and passing in contact with each other to ensure the creation of a seamless insulating coating followed by compaction with a vibratory roller, ensuring high reliability of the monolithic insulating layer and productivity of work during its creation.

EFFECT: improving the waterproofing properties of the engineering system for protecting a man-made tank, preventing environmental pollution, reducing material consumption by creating an insulating coating from the rocks that make up the base of a man-made tank when using a recycler, by mixing cut soil and a binder component (based on bitumen, cement or other binder) , which will improve the reliability of the engineering protection system, meet environmental requirements and reduce the operating costs of mining enterprises for the disposal of waste from the processing of solid minerals.
