FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of heat-insulating foamed concrete on a mineral binder to be marketed at factories or enterprises for producing blocks, and to an apparatus for heat insulation from a foamed material. Method for designing compositions of heat-insulating foamed concrete includes a set of actions based on meeting the condition of absolute filling of the interporous space in the foamed concrete mix; creating three variants of concentration of the foam solution with a different number of parts weight of water per part weight of the foaming agent in the foam solution; creating three mixes with different concentrations of the foam solution; measuring the resulting volumes of the foamed concrete mix and recording the stability thereof; selecting a composition with the concentration of the foam solution providing the stability of the foamed concrete mix with the lowest amount of the foaming agent; measuring the average pore diameter and the average thickness of the interporous divider in the hardened samples of foamed concrete; if the actual average pore diameter and average thickness of the interporous divider significantly differs from the previously accepted values, recalculating the volume of interporous space and the consumption of raw components of the foamed concrete mix; if the fluidity of the solution at the found water-solid ratio needs to be raised, applying a plasticiser, provided that the sum of the absolute volumes of all components of the foamed concrete mix and the volume of the interporouse space remains equal.

EFFECT: simplification of the labour intensity of determining the consumption of components of a foamed concrete mix for manufacturing heat-insulating foamed concrete with closed porosity, reduced adsorption of molecules of the foaming agent on cement grains, and retained potential of the binding component.
