FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Proposed method consists in transfer of rotational kinetic energy from movable car wheel pair axle to generator rotor. Generator contains stator, in slots of which three-phase multi-pole windings are laid. Output wires of windings are output to terminal box. In voltage conversion hardware and charging current formation from input three-phase voltage, accumulator battery charging current and preset constant and alternating voltage are generated, which are supplied to electric power consumers. At insufficient power of generator to electric power consumers specified constant and alternating voltages are supplied from accumulator battery after their formation in equipment of voltage conversion and formation of charging current. On the generator rotor there installed is an even number of permanent magnets counter magnetized in each adjacent pair. Magnets form rotor poles between said pairs. At the generator output the generated three-phase voltages are converted to the specified level and supplied to the equipment for voltage conversion and charging current formation.

EFFECT: higher specific power of autonomous power supply system and its energy efficiency when achieving high reliability and active life.
