FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely, to a method and an apparatus for verticalisation of a patient. Apparatus comprises: a chest mount provided with a pillow; a back mount with side support pillows; apparatuses for adjusting the height of the chest mount and the depth of the chest mount, configured for adjusting the settings of the chest mount; an electric drive lifting the body of the patient during verticalisation; a rack connecting assemblies of the apparatus and positioning the patient during verticalisation; a hinge connection of the rack and the communication lever with the apparatus for adjusting the height of the chest mount and an apparatus for adjusting the length of the communication lever, ensuring the tightness of pressure of the body of the patient by the chest mount to the rack via the side pillow holders of the back mount; support racks of the verticalisation apparatus; a hinge connection of the communication lever with the apparatus for positioning the chest mount and hinged mounts of the apparatus for positioning the chest mount, ensuring the adjustment of the chest mount. All structural elements are mounted on a frame. The method for verticalisation of a patient consists in the patient putting their feet in the apparatus independently using the hands; then moving their body into the apparatus using the hands so that the back of the patient is placed in the apparatus and supported by the back mount; securing their body by the chest mount installed in front under the arms of the patient; and controlling the electric drive in order to execute the process of lifting the body.
EFFECT: possibility of unassisted seating from a wheelchair, independent adjustment of the verticalisation parameters, and increase in the comfort and safety of the patient.
