FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in resuscitation and intensive care, for preventing complications of immobility (thrombosis, bedsores, digestive and urination disorders), for rehabilitation of sedentary patients and caring for them. Rotary-kinetic bed comprises base and connected to it through mechanisms of rotation relative to longitudinal central axis and mechanisms for changing the planar position a support surface consisting of at least four longitudinal sections made with possibility of their transverse lifting/lowering relative to the base. Each of such sections is connected to the adjacent one with possibility of rotation relative to each other. Wherein each longitudinal section of the supporting surface consists of at least four component parts, and the component parts of each of the central longitudinal sections are transversely connected to each other with the possibility of rotation relative to the axis of the connection. Each of the component parts of the side longitudinal sections is independently longitudinally connected to the corresponding component part of the central longitudinal section with the possibility of rotation relative to the connection axis and fixation in the specified angular position.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety of kinetic therapy and passive gymnastics using various positions of the patient, including sitting position, without using heavy physical labour of personnel in various premises, including private households.
