SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmaceutics, namely to a microbial composition for oral administration to a subject. The microbial composition in the form of powder for oral administration contains or consists of microorganisms, sugar alcohol, water-absorbing fiber, a flowability-providing agent. At the same time, water-absorbing fiber is inulin, and sugar alcohol is erythritol, or sugar alcohol is a combination of erythritol and xylitol in a ratio of 2:1. The ratio of sugar alcohol to water-absorbing fiber is 3:1. The microbial composition has water activity of less than 0.15. In another embodiment, a sealed container is presented, containing one or more doses of the specified microbial composition. In one more embodiment, a method for the manufacture of the packed specified microbial composition is presented. The use of a probiotic composition is also provided for the production of a drug for obtaining a probiotic effect in a mammal subject, preferably human, while the effective dose of the drug is administered to an oral cavity of a subject. In addition, a method for the treatment of a mammal subject, preferably human, for achieving a probiotic effect is presented, including the administration to an oral cavity of the effective dose of the probiotic composition.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides for a composition stable during storage, having optimal organoleptic properties in oral administration to a subject in a powdered form.
