SUBSTANCE: nutritional compositions for complementary food are described, characterized by a low glycemic load, and/or a low glycemic index, and/or containing an ingredient characterized by a low glycemic index, for use in the treatment, prevention, and/or reduction in the risk of development of a disorder related to a metabolic syndrome, manifesting in later life.
EFFECT: invention allows for the reduction in a glycemic load in order to prevent disorders related to a metabolic syndrome in children.
