SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nutritional composition for an infant or a young child. The nutritional composition, suitable for an increase in butyrate production in the gastrointestinal tract in an infant or a young child, is an artificial nutritional composition and contains at least six breast milk oligosaccharides – 2’FL, DFL, LNnT, LNT, 3SL and 6SL. A milk mixture for children aged 1 to 3 years contains the above-mentioned nutritional composition.
EFFECT: invention allows for the production of an effective composition contributing to an increase in the butyrate production in the gastrointestinal tract in an infant or a young child in order to prevent health disorder and/or activate a healthy effect.
