FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation technology and concerns the shielding of blocks of radar equipment from an external electromagnetic field in the microwave range by remote control of the screens. Flexible screen with a drive contains a protective screen, fastening elements on the body of an aircraft and a mechanism for moving the protective screen. At the same time, the protective screen is flexible and is made of foiled polyamide, which is a composite material consisting of a polyamide film lined with electrolytic copper foil with a galvanized coating. The mechanism for moving the protective screen contains an electric motor, an upper shaft, two lower drums and a transmission, which contains cardan shafts connecting the upper shaft in series with one lower drum and the second lower drum through gearboxes. On the lower edge of the protective screen there is a rigid edging, to the edges of which the upper ends of the threads are attached, the lower ends of which are fixed on the lower drums. The tension of the threads is provided by the tensioner, catcher and guide.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of shielding blocks of radar equipment located inside the aircraft from the external electromagnetic field of the microwave range, reducing the radar visibility of the aircraft.
