FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation and aerospace engineering, namely, to methods for manufacturing tooling for producing, generally, large-sized parts from polymer composite materials for wing panels and fuselage of planes, nose fairing fuselage of spacecraft, and can be used in manufacturing large-sized parts, including ones of a complex shape, from polymer composite materials moulded at high temperatures. Method includes manufacturing the shaping shell of the tooling following the geometry of the product with a production gap by laying the composite materials on the master model forming the face surface of the shaping shell of the tooling, followed by curing said materials and connecting the resulting shaping shell of the tooling with the supporting structure consisting of longitudinal and transverse elements made of composite materials and rigidly interconnected; characterised by making, after the shaping shell of the tooling has cured, in the areas of contact thereof with the supporting structure, at least 2 non-through setting holes; scanning the back surface of the shaping shell of the tooling and building a mathematical model thereof using specialised systems; then processing the supporting structure in accordance with the mathematical model of the back surface of the shaping shell of the tooling, making holes matching the setting holes; placing pins ensuring the mutual positioning of the shaping shell of the tooling and the supporting structure in the setting holes; installing the supporting structure on the shaping shell of the tooling by the setting pins; laying layered onlays made of an uncured composite material on the back surface of the shaping shell of the tooling, wherein the onlays are adjacent to the surface of the elements of the supporting structure; curing the onlays, and removing the composite tooling from the master model.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of manufacturing a product on composite shaping tooling and lowered labour intensity of the manufacture thereof.
