SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. The pneumatic tire (100) contains the first part (111) of the tread surface, a power supply source (330), a transmitting device, an accelerometer (10), and a control unit (50) made with the ability to operate in power saving mode and normal mode. The contact of the first part (111) of the tread surface with the surface (900) is detected by measuring the acceleration of the first part (111) of the tread surface using the specified accelerometer (10). The control unit (50) is configured to switch from normal mode to power saving mode after detecting that the first part (111) of the tread surface is located on the tire contact spot (20), and the control unit (50) is configured to switch from power saving mode to normal mode when the first set time, depending on the tire rotation speed has elapsed since the specified detection that the first part of the tread surface is on the contact spot (20). The invention also reveals a method and a system for tracking the load on the tire.
EFFECT: improved monitoring of the technical characteristics of the tire.
