FIELD: tires.
SUBSTANCE: tire is intended for use when driving on snow-covered and/or ice-covered surfaces. The tire is made with blocks that have deep sipes and sockets for studs. Blocks made with stud sockets have a large extension adjacent to the stud socket and do not have sipes to stiffen the tread band adjacent to the same socket. The manufactured tire is also made with a second part, which is also provided in blocks made with stud sockets, and is made with sipes having at least one section with a limited depth, and is located between the part of the block that does not have sipes, and the rest of the block, made with deep sipes.
EFFECT: improved performance of the tire when driving on surfaces covered with snow and/or covered with ice.
