FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a double-lay galvanised steel rope including 3 to 6 strands laid from 6 to 36 galvanised steel wires made with a surface density of zinc of at least 270 g/m2, including subjecting the steel workpiece with a carbon content of 0.54 to 0.67% to heat treatment, resulting in a microstructure of sorbitol; performing preliminary cold drawing of the steel workpiece with a total compression of 67 to 74%, hot galvanising at a temperature of 445 to 465°C, and holding for 18 to 35 seconds; then drawing with a total compression of 20 to 30%, thereby increasing the resistance of the rope to the impact of aggressive media.
EFFECT: creation of galvanised steel rope with high resistance to aggressive media.
