FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in preparation of surface of item, in application of zinc coating on it by strip immersion and drawing through bath with melt of zinc at temperature of melt 440-480°C, in forming mass of zinc coating on both sides of strip and in successive finished item drying. Also, rate of strip drawing is set as 25-32 m/min, while mass of zinc coating on both sides of the strip is formed at emergence of strip from melt at distance 20-25 mm from melt surface by uniform pressing mechanic wipers on both sides to strip with force of 1.34-6.35 kg/cm2, where upon strip is subjected to instant cooling at temperature of environment 22-23°C. Further, residual moisture is removed off strip and it is dried at temperature 150-200°C.
EFFECT: production of qualitative bright coating uniform on all sides of strip at minimal consumption of zinc.
