FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of reinforcement ropes intended for reinforcement of prestressed articles from concrete and other plastic materials. In the method of making a reinforcement rope, comprising making wire of round cross-section, wire spinning into rope, circular plastic reduction of rope in roller girder with simultaneous application to outer section of denim ropes of periodic profile, degree of circular plastic crimping of rope is determined by formula where Δd is absolute degree of circular rope reduction, mm; d0 is rope diameter, mm; dWR is diameter of wires forming rope, mm; KDD is design density coefficient; note here that rope structural density allowable is selected on condition that: 0.85<KDD<1.00.
EFFECT: improved adhesion of the reinforcement rope at simultaneous reduction of stress relaxation stress by reducing the level of residual stresses in the rope; provision of necessary surface reduction of wire ropes, which guarantees change of type of stressed condition of wire ropes and reduced value of stresses in surface of deformed wire, and also considerable increase of cohesion of cable with concrete.
