SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmaceutics; it can be used in cancer treatment. A pharmaceutical composition for cancer treatment contains an ionic compound, in which two compounds selected from ascorbic acid, dichloroacetic acid, and lactate are combined with Ca2+ as an active ingredient. A food composition containing the specified ionic compound and pharmaceutical compositions containing the specified ionic compound are also proposed for suppression of cancer metastasis and for prevention or reduction in fatigue related to cancer.
EFFECT: compositions provide for an improved therapeutic effect due to disorders of cancer cell metabolism, effectively inhibit proliferation, invasion, and metastasis of cancer cells.
