FIELD: water purification.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to systems and methods for water purification by recrystallization and heat exchange devices used in them for periodic freezing and thawing of ice. According to the method, the required parameters of water in terms of purity (ppm), pH, redox potential of water are obtained. The heat exchange device is filled with water in the amount of one or a multiple of two heat exchange units. The system operation algorithm is selected for cold, heat, compressor and circulation pump operation intensities by means of the control unit controller. Cooling of the freezing wall of the heat exchange device is carried out by means of the control unit based on the parameters of the selected system operation algorithm. At the end of the cooling cycle of the freezing wall of the heat exchange device, the contaminated water is drained into the drainage system of the receiving unit. The heat exchanger is switched to the heating mode. The melted ice is drained from the freezing wall of the heat exchange device into the container in the amount of one or a multiple of two of the receiving unit by means of the control unit.
