SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engineering. The silent block contains two coaxially arranged metal bushings and an elastic element placed in the gap between the metal bushings, which is made at least in the form of one spiral spring, the axis of which is curved in a circle around the sleeve. The surface of at least one sleeve in contact with the coils of the spiral spring is made in the form of alternating longitudinal projections and depressions, while the coils of the spiral spring tightly cover the longitudinal projections.
EFFECT: simplification of the design and improvement of operational characteristics is provided.
