FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to an agent for treating oral candidiasis. Agent contains 60% wt. glycerine, 20% wt. sodium tetraborate, 0.5% wt. metronidazole, 3% wt. disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, 1% wt. mannitol, 1% wt. chamomile flower extract, and water up to 100% wt. The agent can be made in the form of a spray, a rinsing solution, or a gel.
EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of the medicinal product due to the faster elimination of unpleasant sensations, accelerated removal of white plaque and mucosal hyperaemia, and due to the faster recovery of patients caused by the more effective action of the agent against the fungal and anaerobic oral flora.
