SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to pharmacy, and may be used in preparing external gels for anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. Effect is ensured by Dimexide gel possessing anti-inflammatory action and containing: dimethyl sulphoxide, gelling agent, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate and water, as gelling agent carbomer "Synthalen LP" is contained, sodium hydroxide at certain content.
EFFECT: provided higher gel stability, higher bioavailability ensured by faster release of dimethyl sulphoxide from the gel, as well as high anti-inflammatory activity of the declared agent.
