FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining; it can be used in biological recultivation of dumps of the coal industry, it is aimed at the restoration of forest ecosystems on dumps formed during the development of open-pit coal deposits in taiga regions. A method for the creation of multi-tier nature-like forest ecosystems with a healthy living condition of tree stands on dumps formed during the development of open-pit coal deposits in taiga regions includes plantation of tree stands with expressed vertical tiering and horizontal differentiation. Native taiga species are planted, forming a forest canopy consisting of the first forest sub-tier of Siberian spruce (hereinafter – S) and Siberian larch (hereinafter – L), the second sub-tier of Siberian cedar (hereinafter – C) and understory of Siberian mountain ash (hereinafter – MA), and shrubby tier consisting of the first sub-tier of Siberian pea shrub (hereinafter – PS) and the second sub-tier of oak-leaved spirea (hereinafter – Sp) and brilliant dogwood (hereinafter – DW). A plantation scheme from south to north is the following: DW – L – L – Sp – PS – C – C – S – S – MA – DW – L, while a distance between rows of plants is equal to 2.5 or 4.5 m, and in a row between plants – 1.2 or 2 m.
EFFECT: restoration of soils damaged by coal mining to a state maximally closed to a structure of undisturbed taiga ecosystems.
