FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle of plasmatron is secured and pressed with nozzle holder to shell of vortex. The shell rests on the central bushing with spline channels pressed into a case at the level of projection between the middle and output cavities of the case dividing the case with air interval from an insulator wherein counter-channels are made. The counter-channels connect the middle cavity of the case and the output distributing cavity of a cathode holder with radiator channels communicating output and input distributing cavities of the cathode holder. The input distributing cavity is connected with an internal cavity of the cathode holder by radial channels. A group of fixing pins is arranged in twin blind equally embedded coaxial holes of the end lug of the cathode holder and internal recess of the insulator and in the end projection of the insulator and internal recess of the case. A lock nut pressing and fixing the insulator, the case and the cathode holder is pressed with its internal recess to the insulator, while with its projection it is pressed to the end part of the case.
EFFECT: increased power of plasma jet with simultaneous decrease of its section diametre and improved working geometry of output channel of nozzle, also reliability of design and simplicity of maintenance.
