FIELD: various industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plasma torch and can be used in various industries for mechanized and manual plasma cutting of metal. The plasmatron contains a stationary part (1) with a distributor (2), a channel (3) for supply and a channel (4) for removing a cooling medium and a channel (5) for supplying a plasma-forming gas. The housing (6) contains a replaceable part (7), consisting of a coaxially located cathode assembly as part of an electrode holder (8) with an internal cavity (9), a cooling tube (1), an electrode (11), an annular cavity of variable cross-section (12) and nozzles (1). The stationary part (1) contains a flow divider (14), which consists of a receiving chamber (15) and a distribution chamber (16) connected to supply the plasma-forming gas to the replaceable part (7) by two symmetric channels (17) and similar gas supply channels connected to them channels in the electrode holder (8). The gas supply channels (18) have outlet openings (19) directed into the annular cavity (12), where the gas-dynamic flow stabilizer (20) is located, consisting of three sections sequentially located in the annular cavity (12) - the gas supply section (21), the gas-forming section (24) and gas vortex section (27). The gas-inlet section (21) consists of a confuser mixing chamber (22) and is connected through an annular cylindrical channel (23) with a gas-forming section (24), which contains a forming swirler (25) with helical channels (26) opening into the gas-vortex section (27). The gas-vortex section (27) contains a stabilizing swirler (28), which is a diffuser chamber (29) with a dielectric sleeve (30) placed in it with a thickening (31) facing the nozzle (13), in which channels are evenly spaced around the circumference of the thickened part (32) directed (33) into the gas discharge chamber (34) formed by the end surface of the electrode (11) and the inner surface of the nozzle (13) and passing into the output cylindrical channel (35) of the nozzle (13).
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of work and achieving high performance indicators of the plasmatron.
