FIELD: metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering (metal working), in particular, to a composition and method for producing oil-based coolant (cutting fluid). Described are a composition and method for producing oil-based cutting fluid. Industrial oil is used as an oil base, and technical chalk in the amount of 25% total volume of the fluid is used as an additive. The coolant is produced in a sealed working chamber by dispersing while exciting ultrasonic oscillations in the direction from bottom up, with a hydrostatic overpressure of 0.25 MPa in the chamber.
EFFECT: possibility of improving the quality of the processed surface of the hole and reducing the cost of the processed parts.
