FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, namely to a method for producing amides of 2-acyl-3-oxo-butanoic acid of the general formula (1), where X = n-C3H7, n-C4H9, n-C6H13, cyclo-C5H9, cyclo-C6H11. The method consists in the interaction of sodium bicarbonate with acetylacetone and primary amines in the presence of a nickel (II) acetylacetonate catalyst at a molar ratio of NaHCO3: acac: amine: Ni(acac)2=1:2:2:0.03 in isopropyl alcohol at a temperature of 80°C for 2 hours.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce the reaction time and obtain a product with a high yield.
