SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds of general formula (I), in which Alk represents alkyl substituent: C₄H₉, C₆H₁₃, C₁₀H₂₁ C₁₅H₃₁, C₁₈H₃₇; R₁ represents group 4-CH₃C₆H₄; n = 0, 1 or 2, CH_nCF_n represents fragment: if n-2 CH₂-CF₂, if n=1 CH=CF, if n=0 C≡C. Invention also relates to method of obtaining compounds of formula (I). Para-bromobenzaldehyde hydrazone is brought into interaction with 2-bromo-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl 4-methylphenyl sulfide in presence of ethylenediamine base and copper (I) chloride catalyst in ethanol at 30-45°C for 5 hours with formation of mixture of 3-(4-bromophenyl)- 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropyl 4-methylphenyl sulfide and 3-(4-bromophenyl)- 1,1,2-trifluoroprop-2-en-1-yl 4-methylphenyl sulfide, after which each obtained substance is separately introduced into reaction of cross-combination with 4-alkyloxyboric acids for 6 hours, with application of 1,2-dimethoxyethane as solvent, water solution of inorganic base, and palladium catalyst (Pd(PPh₃)₄, PdCl₂(dppb), Pd(dba)₂, PdCl₂(PPh₃)₂, Pd(OAc)₂), after that, reaction of fluorohydrogen elimination is performed for each compound with 1.0 M solution of sodium hexamethyldisilaside in THF at -80°C for 1-3 hours.

EFFECT: obtained are novel compounds, demonstrating liquid-crystalline properties and can be further used in liquid-crystalline materials.
