FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cellular biology and medicine, in particular, to a method for activating the myogenic differentiation of myoblasts of the C2C12 cell line. In order to implement the method, above cells are incubated for 7 days with a differentiation nutrient medium containing 2% horse serum, L-glutamine at a concentration of 4 mmol, penicillin at a concentration of 100 U/ml, and streptomycin at a concentration of 100 mcg/ml, adding ethyl methyl hydroxypyridine succinate to the medium until a concentration of 10 mcm is achieved.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of increasing the effectiveness and simplifying the method for activating the myogenic differentiation of myoblasts of the C2C12 cell line, and can be used in researching the mechanisms of differentiation of myoblasts and assessing the influence of pharmaceuticals thereon.
