FIELD: oil refining and petrochemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing heavy oil products with water vapors to increase the depth of processing of heavy oil residues (HOR), including obtaining superheated water vapor, heating of oil products, supply of superheated water vapor and oil products to cracking zone and their mixing in this zone with formation of crude mixture, thermal cracking of oil products, removal of processed products from the cracking zone, their cooling and separation. Heating of oil products is carried out in two-stage mode, at the first stage heating temperature T1 with interval of 300–350 °C lies below temperature of the beginning of thermal cracking of oil products Tn, at the second stage, the heating temperature exceeds Tn by at least 1.3 times with interval of 500–550 °C, heating is carried out for 0.5–3 minutes. Superheated steam is introduced into the cracking zone at temperature of 650–850 °C in the presence of water in oil product 2–30 wt. %, mixing of oil products with superheated water vapors is carried out by dispersing one of the components of the crude mixture with the possibility of providing a high area of their interphase contact surface, when withdrawing processing products from the cracking zone, they are separated into a steam-gas flow and a liquid flow; these flows are cooled separately. Invention also relates to a plant for processing heavy oil products.
EFFECT: reducing resin-asphaltene substances (RAS) and coke in the cracking residue and increasing thermal cracking efficiency.
