FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: dual-electrode fast flow-tuned superconducting qubit based on kinetic inductance relates to systems for quantum information processing based on superconducting qubits. The technical result is achieved by the qubit containing two kinetic inductors; wherein the first electrode of the tunnelling Josephson junction is connected to the first electrode of the first kinetic inductor; the second electrode of the tunnelling Josephson junction is connected to the first electrode of the second kinetic inductor; and the second electrodes of the first and second kinetic inductors are interconnected and grounded.

EFFECT: improvement in the coherent properties of the qubit, simplified system for controlling the qubit, and facilitated scaling.
