FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for using Josephson phase inverters to shift the superconducting phase when superconducting flux qubits are shifted into the working mode. In the method, two superconducting sections of a flux qubit ring are closed together by means of an additional ring section, wherein a Josephson phase inverter is used as said additional section, constituting a layer of a weak ferromagnetic material with an averaged small-domain magnetic structure with zero average magnetisation and ensuring that a spontaneous semiperiodic phase shift occurs in the qubit ring.
EFFECT: ensured shifting of the superconducting phase by π in flux qubit circuits without the need for using additional current lines or the procedure for magnetic flux capture in a superconducting ring.
