FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technological equipment in mechanical engineering. The stand for checking the moment of resistance to rotation of turntables contains an installation part, a drive, a loading block made in the form of a set of verified weight simulators, and a device for fixing the fixed ring of the turntable being checked. The drive contains an electric motor with an angular displacement sensor of its shaft, a gearbox with lower and upper flanges, an unloading clutch and a torque sensor, a lever with a pin, and a measuring and control system.
EFFECT: improving the quality of manufacturing of slewing devices and other large diameter thrust bearings, achieved by establishing the dependence of the moment of resistance to rotation of the rotating ring of the slewing device on the angle of its rotation relative to the fixed ring.
