FIELD: gas processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas processing, and in particular to a method for producing methanol from natural gas. The proposed method includes the following stages: production of synthesis gas by partial oxidation of natural gas in a matrix converter at a pressure of 1-5 atm. At the same time, air oxygen is used as an oxidizing agent, and the excess ratio of the oxidizing agent is 0.32-0.34. The resulting synthesis gas is cooled to a temperature of 35-40°C, dried, compressed to a pressure of 40-45 atm, heated to a temperature of 200-210°C and sequentially fed into two flow isothermal tubular methanol synthesis reactors.
EFFECT: obtaining methanol with a concentration of 85-90 wt.% directly next to the gas field.
