FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing hydrogen-containing gas, including two subsequent stages. The method is characterized in that, at the first stage, at a temperature of T=1000-1100°C, non-catalytic matrix conversion of methane into synthesis gas is carried out in the presence of water vapor, and at the second stage, in a flow reactor, catalytic conversion of synthesis gas obtained at the first stage is carried out at a temperature of T=500-900°C.
EFFECT: invention provides for higher process performance.
