FIELD: oil fields development.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for developing oil fields with terrigenous and carbonate reservoirs, and in particular to methods for reducing the water cut in oil production wells, mainly in mature fields. To implement the method for developing an oil deposit of a mature field, including the upper productive and lower aquifers bordering the level of water-oil contact, the formation medium is taken from the productive formation by production wells located in the plan in the oil-bearing contour through the perforated sections of the production string. Liquid is injected into the aquifer through injection wells with their location behind the oil-bearing contour. Observation wells are placed in the oil-bearing contour between production wells with the lower end of the casing string reaching the aquifer. By means of observation wells, the level of oil-water contact is periodically monitored. Perforated sections of newly commissioned production wells are located above the level of oil-water contact.
EFFECT: reduction of water inflow from the formation and water cut of oil lifted from the well.
