SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio-electronic equipment, in particular to means for automated control and diagnostics of radio-electronic equipment. Using a device for hybrid scanning, structural, functional, schematic circuits or a physical sample of a control object are analyzed, a model of the control object is formed, which includes separate functional clusters, outputs of edge connectors, and outputs of programmable elements, a set of test sequences is determined for each of clusters in accordance with its functional model, test impacts are supplied through edge connectors and outputs of programmable elements, while scanning condition of outputs of edge connectors and condition of outputs of programmable elements, a conclusion is made on correct operation of the control object.

EFFECT: reduction in terms of development of tests for products with programmable elements, reduction in time for diagnostics of a product, and improvement of the quality of diagnostics.
