FIELD: impact testing.

SUBSTANCE: used primarily when testing high-intensity impact effects of various devices, instruments and equipment. To create impact effects, a pyrotechnic device is used, consisting of a hollow body with a thread on the outer surface, a gas generator, a piston with seals, on which a removable driver is installed using a thread, a locking element fixing the piston in the body, and the body itself with a piston, liner and gas generator is installed on a thread in the bottom of the cup and secured with a locking nut, while on the opposite end side of the glass there is a flange with holes on its outer part. In the body of the cup, in the bottom and in the flange, there are threaded holes lying in the same plane passing through the symmetry axis of the pyrotechnic device perpendicular to this axis. Moreover, eyebolts are installed in the threaded holes, to which an adjustable cable system is attached, and weights of various masses, made in the form of flat cylinders with holes, are attached to the flange using bolts, while the holes in the flat cylinders have the same diameters and coincide with the diameters of the holes in the flange of the cup.

EFFECT: enhancement of impact testing.
