FIELD: glasses.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic glasses and to a system for suppressing bright light. Claimed system for improving visibility by suppressing bright light comprises: glasses for the wearer with at least one eye, containing: at least one eyeglass lens; wherein said at least one eyeglass lens comprises a liquid crystal cell (LC), the transmittance whereof can be changed by the corresponding control tool; wherein the liquid crystal cell (LC) is configured for the transmittance (TR) of the liquid crystal cell (LC) to be switched between high transmission and low transmission states. Also comprises a tool for controlling or adjusting the durations of the high transmittance state (Ton) of the liquid crystal cell (LC); at least one sensor (IL, IR) for measuring the brightness of visible light incident thereon; wherein said at least one sensor (IL, IR) is located on the eyeglass lens on the side of the eye; wherein said at least one sensor (IL, IR) measures the brightness through said at least one eyeglass lens. Also comprises a managing circuit (MC) with feedback for adjusting the transmittance of the liquid crystal cell (LC); wherein the adjustment tool is configured for the duration of the high transmittance state (Ton) to be shortened as bright light increases; wherein the set value of brightness on the eye of the wearer of the glasses is preset; wherein the managing circuit uses the brightness measured by the sensor as the current value. Also comprises a display containing: a tool for controlling the illumination durations and the display light intensity for illumination during the high transmittance state (Ton) of the liquid crystal cell (LC); wherein the time integral of the product of the display light intensity and the transmittance (TR) of the liquid crystal cell (LC) remains constant within the preset tolerance level after the durations of the high transmittance state (Ton) are changed.
EFFECT: creation of systems for improving visibility for the wearer of glasses in various conditions.
